AC Technician

Job Summary


We are looking for a qualified AC Technician to join our maintenance team in a steel manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of air conditioning systems and related HVAC equipment across the facility.
You will play a key role in ensuring comfortable and safe working conditions for all plant and office areas.


Key Responsibilities


Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, ventilation units, and HVAC components.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all cooling systems in production areas, control rooms, offices, and other facility zones.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems and carry out necessary repairs.
Monitor performance and adjust settings for temperature control, airflow, and humidity levels.
Ensure the proper functioning of chillers, compressors, condensers, and refrigerant systems.
Maintain logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and refrigerant usage in line with safety and environmental regulations.
Respond promptly to AC-related breakdowns and emergency repair calls.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance teams for integrated facility support.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and internal procedures.


Requirements


Technical certification or diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or HVAC systems.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC troubleshooting.
Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and system manuals.
Familiarity with safety practices and environmental standards related to refrigerants and HVAC equipment.
Physically fit and able to work in high-temperature environments and elevated areas when required.
