 Job Title: Assistant Flight Dispatcher

Unit: Operations Control Centre (OCC) Job Description

We invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Assistant Flight Dispatcher within its Operations Control Centre. The successful candidates will support flight dispatch and operational control activities, including load control, aircraft weight and balance documentation, and the preparation of Load and Trim Sheets in accordance with Company procedures, aircraft limitations, and applicable NCAA regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the flight dispatcher to perform load control functions to ensure the safe and accurate distribution of aircraft payload within approved weight and balance limits. Calculate and verify aircraft weight and balance data and produce the required load control documentation before flight departure. Coordinate with Flight Dispatchers and ground handling personnel to resolve loading irregularities and ensure operational readiness. Maintain load control records and ensure all assigned duties comply with applicable aviation regulations, approved procedures, and operational safety standards.

Minimum Entry Requirements

A minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised institution. Successful completion of an approved Aviation Training Organisation (ATO) course in Flight Dispatch. Possession of a valid NCAA Flight Dispatcher Licence. A minimum score of 80% in the United Nigeria Airlines entry assessment.
