Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Cleaner responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and well-organised environment. The ideal candidate should be proactive, attentive to details, and capable of carrying out cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Key ResponsibilitiesSweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors in designated areas.
Dust and wipe furniture, windows, doors, surfaces, and other fittings.
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, and common areas.
Empty waste bins and dispose of refuse appropriately.
Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are properly used, stored, and maintained.
Replenish essential supplies such as tissue paper, hand wash, and other cleaning materials.
Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards.
Maintain cleanliness in offices, hallways, staircases, and other designated spaces.
Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and assigned tasks are completed promptly.
Handle cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and responsibly.
Maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation at all times.
Perform other cleaning-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Cleaner or in a similar role is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and materials.
Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment.
Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Physical ability to perform routine cleaning duties.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum of SSCE or its equivalent is an added advantage.
