 Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Type: Full-time Description

Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and induction processes. Serve as first point of contact for employee concerns and manage disciplinary processes. Drive engagement initiatives, surveys, and retention programs. Monitor attendance, probation, and performance processes. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback trends. Ensure compliance with HR policies, labour laws, and audit requirements. Maintain accurate staff records and documentation. Maintain and manage employee records on the HRIS, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Coordinate manpower requisitions, job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and selection. Support performance management processes. Work with line managers to address performance and conduct issues proactively.

Qualifications and requirements

B.Sc. / HND in HR, Social Sciences, or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience. Professional HR certification preferred. Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. High integrity and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
