Maintenance Technician - Mainland

Position Summary


Perform daily systematic inspections of facilities to proactively identify potential issues and prevent failures;
Recognize or receive problem reports, analyze to determine root causes, and resolve;
Elevate concerns to supervisor when necessary;
Ensure proper documentation and closure of issues in accordance with company protocols;
Execute and oversee appropriate preventive/proactive maintenance on facilities as outlined in manuals;
Maintain cleanliness and optimal condition of equipment and facilities in assigned areas;
Supervise equipment usage to avoid mishandling;
Facilitate proper handover of ongoing issues during shift changes;
Fill out Spare Requisition Forms and Job Completion Forms, obtaining all required approvals;
Update Equipment History Cards upon resolution and closure of equipment-related issues;
Support and drive the company's energy conservation initiatives, ensuring reduction in energy consumption and costs;
Monitor escalated issues until resolution;
Ensure timely creation and submission of daily reports;
Provide input on Vendor/service provider performance to assist in their evaluation;
Develop expertise in designated areas and on specific equipment;
Suggest ideas and recommendations for operations, equipment, preventive maintenance, and spare parts management;
Engage in self-development and training;
Actively participate in team meetings and departmental initiatives;
Examine and verify diesel quality, providing approval before acceptance


Qualifications


Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
OND and HND qualifications are acceptable
Proficiency in computer usage is essential
Must reside in the mainland area
