Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing/Data Analyst to support pricing strategies and business decision-making through data analysis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing pricing trends, maintaining pricing databases, preparing reports, and providing insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
This role requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills, as Excel will be the primary tool used for data analysis, pricing models, forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, organize, and analyze pricing and operational data from multiple sources.
Develop, maintain, and update pricing models to support business objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry benchmarks.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly pricing and performance reports.
Analyze profitability, revenue trends, and cost structures to identify improvement opportunities.
Create and maintain dashboards, trackers, and automated reports using Microsoft Excel.
Validate data accuracy and ensure the integrity of pricing information.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide actionable recommendations to management.
Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Management teams to support pricing decisions.
Generate forecasts and scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of pricing adjustments.
Maintain historical pricing records and support pricing audits when required.
Identify inefficiencies in existing reporting processes and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in Pricing Analysis, Data Analysis, Financial Analysis, or a similar role.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
