Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Brand Manager to lead the growth agenda for Dangote Seasoning.
The successful candidate will develop and execute brand strategies that drive volume, revenue, market share, consumer penetration and brand equity in Nigeria’s competitive FMCG market.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute brand and portfolio strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
Lead annual brand planning, marketing budgets, demand forecasting and performance monitoring.
Drive brand awareness, equity, consideration, mental availability and market penetration.
Lead product innovation, renovation, development and commercialisation.
Develop pricing, pack architecture and promotional strategies to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, media, trade, experiential and consumer activation channels.
Analyse consumer insights, market trends, competitor activities and brand performance to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Operations, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver business objectives.
Manage marketing agencies, brand assets and campaign execution, ensuring cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Monitor marketing effectiveness and return on investment, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Communications or a related discipline.
An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
A relevant professional marketing qualification, such as CIM or an equivalent certification, is desirable.
8–10 years’ progressive experience in brand management, marketing or commercial roles, including at least 3 years in a senior brand management capacity.
Experience in FMCG, preferably in food, seasoning or other high-volume consumer goods categories, is strongly preferred.
