We are seeking a highly meticulous and strategic Internal Control Manager to oversee, evaluate, and enhance our internal control framework. Because the energy sector comes with unique regulatory, financial, and operational complexities, proven experience within the Oil & Gas industry is strictly mandatory for this role.

What You’ll Do
Strengthen the Control Environment: Design, implement, and continuously evaluate a robust internal control framework across corporate, financial, and field operations.
Mitigate Industry-Specific Risks: Identify vulnerabilities unique to oil and gas operations, including joint venture accounting, procurement, supply chain logistics, inventory management, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) for major projects.
Drive Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to statutory laws, production sharing contracts (PSCs/JVs), international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and environmental regulations.
Lead Audits & Reviews: Plan and execute comprehensive internal control reviews, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure prompt remediation of any identified gaps.
Partner with Leadership: Provide clear, data-driven insights and risk management recommendations to executive management and the Audit Committee.
Who You Are
Oil & Gas Expert: You possess a 5–8 years of experience in internal control, risk management, or internal audit, strictly within the Oil & Gas sector.
Highly Qualified: You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, backed by professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA.
Process-Driven: You have a deep understanding of COSO frameworks, SOX compliance, and financial reporting processes specific to the energy industry.
An Analytical Thinker: You can dissect complex financial and operational data, spot red flags early, and design practical workflows to prevent fraud or waste.
An Authoritative Communicator: You possess the diplomacy and firmness required to enforce compliance, influence senior stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams.
