We are seeking for a Corporate Lawyer to join our Legal & Compliance team.
We are open to lawyers who have recently been called to the Nigerian Bar, as well as candidates with some relevant post-qualification experience.
This is an opportunity for a motivated legal professional to build strong corporate and commercial law experience within a growing organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal support on corporate, commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and support the negotiation of contracts, agreements, letters, and other legal documents.
Support the Company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Conduct legal research and provide clear and practical legal opinions.
Assist with corporate governance matters, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements.
Support the review and development of Company policies, agreements, SOPs, and other corporate documents.
Identify potential legal and compliance risks and support appropriate mitigation.
Maintain proper documentation of legal matters and provide timely support to Management and other departments.
What We're Looking For
LL.B from a recognized university.
Called to the Nigerian Bar and in good standing.
0–3 years of relevant experience; newly called lawyers are encouraged to apply.
Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Good understanding of corporate and commercial law.
High level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
