Margaret Lawrence University (MLU) is a private university established in 2022 under the National Universities Commission Act of 1974 and Education Act of 1993. Founded by the Board of Trustees of the Fountain of Joy and Comfort Foundation in furtherance of its commitment to serving humanity, the University’s Main Campus is located in Galilee, Ika North-East L.G.A of Delta State, while its Medical College, Teaching Hospital, Faculties of Law and Environmental Sciences are situated at the Abuja Campus of the University located in River Park Estate, Airport Road, Lugbe District, Abuja.  Job Title: Professor (Nursing Science)

Faculty: Allied Health Sciences

College: Paul Odili College of Medicine Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in the discipline in Nursing Science from a recognised university Relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate to the rank applied for Current registration and valid practising licence with the relevant professional body (NMCN) Registered Nurse (RN) Registered Midwife (RM) where applicable Valid Annual Practicing Licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Teaching, research, clinical and administrative experience commensurate with the rank Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals Ability to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research

Candidates must have appropriate teaching, research, clinical and scholarly experience commensurate with the rank sought. Candidates must provide evidence of relevant academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals, where applicable. Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional regulatory body and possess a valid practising licence where applicable. Applicants must demonstrate capacity for teaching, research, mentorship and academic service. Candidates must be willing to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, clinical training and other academic responsibilities assigned by the University. All academic and professional qualifications must be obtained from recognized institutions and must be verifiable.
