Job Overview
Monitor and control the plant processes through computer and manual controls.
Operate refining neutralisation, bleaching and deodorisation production process.
Responsible for operating several process steps and has equipment for vacuum, pressure, distillation, heat exchanger, filtration and Centrifuge separation subject to process requirement and product quality. Utilise a computerised system to control most processes.
Ensure proper line-up for unit production
Safely collect samples to identify product quality issues proactively. Effectively communicate field conditions to appropriate personnel.
Operate refinery process in a safe, efficient manner. Troubleshoot equipment and product to meet plant production standards.
Ensure the plant is run on its rated production capacity on minimum losses and requires quality parameters.
RequirementsSSCE/ND or degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
2-4 years' experience as a refinery operator
Knowledge of By-product processing such as acid oil and Lecithin
