We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented,experienced,reliable,creative,and proactive Social Media Handler / Content Creator to manage and grow the company's digital presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing social media platforms, creating high-quality graphics and videos, and ensuring that all content aligns with the company's brand, marketing objectives, and target audience. The role is primarily remote, with the successful candidate required to report to the office once or twice a week and work online on other days.

Manage and grow the company's social media platforms. Create and publish engaging daily content across relevant platforms. Develop creative content ideas that increase audience engagement and brand visibility. Develop and maintain weekly/monthly content calendars. Design professional Canva flyers, carousels, motion graphics, promotional materials, and other social media assets. Shoot high-quality videos using an iPhone or similar mobile device. Edit short-form and long-form videos using CapCut and other relevant editing tools. Apply proper knowledge of camera angles, lighting, framing, sound, composition, and visual storytelling. Create Reels, TikToks, Stories, promotional videos, educational content, and other engaging formats. Identify and leverage relevant social media trends, sounds, hashtags, and content formats. Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls to action. Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience interactions. Track social media performance and provide regular reports on key metrics. Recommend strategies for increasing followers, reach, engagement, and conversions. Ensure all content consistently reflects the company's brand identity. Collaborate with management and other team members to develop campaign ideas. Stay informed about emerging social media trends, tools, algorithms, and best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or relevant training in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field with 2 – 4 years of practical experience managing business or professional social media accounts. Proven experience creating and managing content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, and YouTube. Strong practical knowledge of Canva and CapCut. Demonstrable experience in video shooting and editing. Strong understanding of lighting, sound, camera angles, framing, and video composition. Excellent creative and storytelling abilities. Strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement. Ability to independently generate fresh and relevant content ideas. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent content output. Strong attention to detail and brand awareness. Must be a resident of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
