Job Title: Relationship Manager – Business Banking

Key Responsibilities
Acquire new business customers and expand the bank’s SME and commercial client base.
Identify business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market visits.
Mobilise deposits and grow business banking portfolios.
Promote banking products, including savings, current accounts, fixed deposits, and lending solutions.
Assess business financing needs, prepare credit proposals, and support loan processing.
Manage existing client relationships and identify opportunities for portfolio growth.
Monitor loan performance, repayment capacity, and portfolio quality.
Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, CBN regulations, and customer documentation requirements.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of five years’ experience in sales, preferably within banking or financial services.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of business banking products, credit processes, and deposit mobilisation.
Strong relationship management, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Results-driven, with the ability to build and manage a profitable customer portfolio.
Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
