Electro-Sun Global Services Limited is a prominent, engineer-founded solar energy engineering and distribution firm in Nigeria. The company operates as a key authorized distributor for major tier-1 hardware brands like Deye, Sungrow, and LONGi, specializing in premium hybrid and off-grid solar deployments for residential, commercial, and mega-scale industrial operations across the country. We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: Field Marketing Officer

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Port Harcourt - Rivers, Kano and Lagos Job Description

The Field Marketing Officer will be responsible for promoting Electro-Sun's products and solutions through direct, face-to-face marketing activities. The successful candidate will identify potential customers, build relationships with businesses and industry professionals, generate sales leads and create opportunities for product sales and distribution. This is a field-based role requiring regular visits to prospective customers, businesses and relevant industry locations.

Conduct physical marketing visits to solar companies, EPC contractors, installers, electrical equipment dealers and prospective customers. Promote Sungrow inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and other Electro-Sun product offerings. Identify and develop relationships with potential customers, distributors, dealers and business partners. Generate qualified sales leads and follow up with prospective customers to drive product enquiries and purchases. Identify potential bulk purchase opportunities and equipment supply requirements. Introduce Electro-Sun's products and services to businesses, project developers and relevant industry stakeholders. Gather market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activities, pricing and market opportunities. Distribute marketing materials and provide basic product information to prospective customers. Coordinate with the internal sales and business development team to follow up on leads, prepare quotations and facilitate sales conversions. Maintain an updated database of prospects, customer interactions and sales opportunities. Submit regular reports on field activities, leads generated, customer feedback and market developments.

Job Requirements

OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or a related field. Relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications. Previous experience in field sales, direct marketing, business development or customer acquisition. Experience in the solar energy, electrical equipment, renewable energy or technology sector will be an added advantage. Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills. Ability to confidently approach prospective customers and establish business relationships. Good negotiation, networking and relationship-management skills. Ability to work independently, meet targets and deliver results. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using smartphones, WhatsApp and other communication tools. Willingness to travel within assigned locations and undertake regular field activities.      

Results-oriented and self-motivated. Strong sales and customer acquisition abilities. Good organizational and reporting skills. Professional conduct and ability to represent the company effectively. Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
